As an Alliance Teacher Resident, you will spend a year learning and teaching alongside an extraordinary mentor teacher while completing your California Preliminary Credential.

Our one-year residency combines immersive classroom experience with coursework that reflects the realities of teaching today. You will spend four days each week at an Alliance school, working closely with your mentor to plan, teach, and reflect on practice. One day each week is dedicated to credential coursework that deepens your content knowledge and strengthens your instructional craft.

We offer Single Subject credential pathways in Mathematics, English Language Arts, Social Science, Science, and Spanish. Upon successful completion, you will earn a Preliminary Credential and be eligible for a full-time teaching position at Alliance.
